MTU-10 Connected but not working

I have connected the MTU-10 to a Windows 11 PC and a Roland MIDI controller keyboard. The cable is correctly connected IN to OUT and OUT to IN. MIDI channel is set to 1. The DOREMIDI device is showing as available on the PC, but is not responding to key presses. Can anyone help?
