MR-1 lost connection

hope someone can help. I just bought 2 x Doremidi MR-1. i connected one to my router with the USb C power, connected the other to my Network switcher with poE. however the PoE did not power the MR-1 i also had to use the USB C former power????

one red and one blue both worked however after a short break they stopped working, both still on but the Red and blue lights were now flashing slowly… is this a common problem? or are they usually reliable.
