MR-1 Pro always drops connection

I am connecting an MR-1 Pro via Ethernet to a mioXL MIDI host.

If I start the MR-1 after the host is running, it connects and works well. However, it always drops out after a while. It might last up to 30 minutes or as short as 5. There is no obvious pattern to it.

The only fix is to restart the MR-1.

Apart from the drop-out problem, I can't understand why my host can only connect when the MR-1 starts up. It doesn't make sense to me that that's the only time it can connect.

Can anyone help me with these connectivity problems?
