MIDI to DMX Editor

Hi guys

Hi guys

A couple of requests for the DMX Editor,. I have just bought a MIDI to DMX 1024 box and its working fine, the software editor is a good start to making it much more usable so after two hours of playing, here's what I would like to see:

1) Copy and Paste. I like the multi-edit features you have but copy and paste is a no-brainer for making it easier and more intuitive. For example, if I have 5 different light fixtures and want to set them all to the same colour, I may need to set the RGBW values for each of the fixtures differently. So once get a red colour across all fixtures, I might want a purple too. I want to select all the SN rows used to create the red wash, copy and paste them, then make the small edits to each row to create purple. I don't want to have to put every RGBW combination into my MIDI pedal board to create these coulours, I just want to send a single MIDI note and let the DOREMIDI box do its magic.

2) An alternative to the above would be to use an editable import/export file format.

3) Filter on a range of column values. Let's say I have a fixture using DMX Channels 1-5 I'd like to set a range so I could just see the SN rows that affect them.

4) A Note field for each SN Row, so I could remember what all these entries do without having to look it up in the manuals again when I have forgotten it in 6 months time.

5) "Friendly Names" for each DMX Channels.

That's it for now. I recognise its at V1 and you may have more stuff planned but just to let you know that its being used!

(Oh, and there is a bug in the "Save File" which tries to open a file.)
