MTD-1024 - Midi To DMX Box

I purchase the Midi to DMX Box MTD-1024 and the documentation leave a lot of information out.

It's not clear how to map Midi signal to DMX channels.

For example if I want to send a 255 signal to DMX channel 1:

1) What settings do I need to configure that on the box?

2) What Midi notes related to that channel and how do I control between 0-255?

I have read everything on your website and watched the youtube video but there is a lot of missing information. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
