MSC 10 Will not upgrade firmware

I have downloaded the software shown in the pdf

MSC-10 Upgrade isnstructions.pdf

I have installed the software under windows 11.

When I run the software the UI looks nothing like the instructions found in MSC-10 Upgrade isnstructions.pdf and when I try to connect (MSC-10 is in upgrade mode and upgrade LED is flashing) the software says "No upgrade device detected. Please check connection and mode." I have installed the file VCP_V1.5.0_Setup_W8_x64_64bits.exe and this made no difference. I am unable to upgrade the device and it will not operate with my Launchpad Mini.
