MPC-20 does not display midi Data

I have been using a MPC-20 for a couple months now with three pedals configured for a Yamaha M06, Korg Opsix and virtual instruments on cubase. I have been able to configure the pedals as pitch bend and sustain. I am using a windows 11 system.

What I have not been able to do is view live midi data in the "Pedal Midi Data" window in Pedal Config Tool V4. Clicking or unchecking the "Show only current message Number" does not make a difference.

I am able to view data in an app titled "SoundLib Midi Test".

I have tried reloading the pedal config Tool without any change.

Any ideas?
