MPC-10 Erratic on certain USB ports

I read another post on the erratic behaviour of MPC-10, where the recommended solution was to upgrade the firmware to

MPC-10 Firmware Upgrade File V2.4.7.rar

I did that but I still have the same problem:

I just changed computers. When connected to a USB port on the rear of this Dell Optiplex micro 3070 (i7-9000), running Windows 11, the MPC-10 initially works on the USB 3.0 port in the back, but does not work on the 2.0 port. But even so, after a few presses on the pedal, it stops working. When I plug it in to the front panel USB 3.0 it is much more stable. I occasionally had the same problem with the previous slower Lenovo mini computer, but it settled down eventually. I am using a quality USB C to USB A data cable. I do not like to have things plugged in on the front panel, so I am wondering what the problem is and if there is a solution.
