HUB-3 Firmware Update Failed

Have and original HUB-3 (not Pro), successfully put the device into update mode using MidiOX and sending the SysEx message (LED flashing), however been unable to get the Upgrade Tool to recognise the unit despite the confirming the correct VCP driver being loaded and selecting the allocated COM port. Eventually just get an IO Timeout displayed

Installed the software and attempted to update on both a 32 and 64 bit windows 7 PC. Tried direct USB connection and via a powered USB hub without success
